Do we receive the marriage certificates immediately after the ceremony?

Yes.
Immediately after the civil wedding ceremony, you will receive two original marriage certificates from the Danish registry office.

The certificates are issued in five languages and are suitable for official use in many countries.

Upon request, the marriage certificates can also be issued with an apostille, confirming their authenticity for international purposes.
