Required Documents for Your Wedding in Denmark

For EU Citizens
- Valid passport or ID
- Proof of marital status: single, divorced, or widowed
Relationship proofs are not required for EU citizens.
For Non-EU Citizens
- Valid passport
- Residence permit or, if needed, visa (some countries up to 90 days without visa)
- Proof of marital status: single, divorced, or widowed
- Relationship proofs such as photos or contracts, if required
- Translations arranged professionally if not available
Apostille & Translations
- Marriage certificate already in 5 languages – no translation needed
- Apostille can be arranged on request
- All other translations via professional interpreters
